Karachi police bust dacoit gang involved in street crime

KARACHI: (Suno News) Karachi police on Friday busted a five-member dacoit gang involved in street crime.

According to police, the dacoit gang, also known as the “Chhalawa Gang”, was busted in the West District in the jurisdiction of Surjani police.

The accused had been involved in house robberies and looting people outside banks.

Ringleader Hashim alias Jumbo would inform his accomplices of the people leaving banks with money.

Police recovered arms, cell phones, laptops, wallets, cash, and other valuables from the possession of the accused.

They were identified as Hashim alias Jambo, Sohail, Mustafa, Habeel, and Arshad.
