LAHORE: (Suno News) Investigations have revealed that the declared and undeclared assets of Farah Gogi, a close friend of Imran Khan’s wife and former first lady Bushra Bibi, increased by Rs4,520 million during the tenure of Imran Khan as prime minister.

Her declared assets had increased by 420 percent, whereas, the undeclared assets of the former first lady’s friend increased by 15,300 percent, investigations have revealed.

It also came to the fore that 240-Kanal of land had been transferred in the name of Farah Gogi as a bribe, and, it has been revealed that the accused also made the most of the tax amnesty scheme.

Farah Gogi has also been accused of collecting Rs489 as bribes for the transfers and postings of government employees and awarding government contracts to the favourites.

Farah Gogi has also been accused of owning agricultural lands in Bahawalpur and Gujranwala.

Besides, she also owns residential and commercial properties in Islamabad and Lahore, said investigations and added she owns 200-Kanal of agricultural land at Chakri near Islamabad.

Investigations have also revealed Farah Gogi’s involvement in fraud overseas as both she and her husband worked as directors at Gold Star Euro Private Limited by posing themselves as doctors.

Moreover, the number of her bank accounts in Pakistan increased significantly between 2019 and 2021, and in one of these accounts, Rs426 million were deposited in four years.

As many as 102 bank accounts of Farah Gogi, her husband Ahsan Jameel Gujjar, and their business partners, containing more than Rs14 billion have been traced out so far.

Besides, Farah Gogi has also been involved in money laundering.
