Lahore: (Suno News) The ICC has declared the Pakistan-India cricket match as a battle for supremacy. The ICC shared an image on its official account.
The image shared by the ICC shows Babar Azam and Virat Kohli riding on horses. The ICC has declared the Pakistan-India match as a “War of Crowns.”
It is worth noting that both Pakistan and India’s teams remain unbeaten in the World Cup. Both teams have won their initial two matches. Pakistan defeated the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, while India defeated Afghanistan and Australia.
Pakistan’s team is touring India for the first time after the T20 World Cup in 2016. The first two matches of the current World Cup were played in Hyderabad, where the team received a tremendous reception.
Pakistan has faced India in the World Cup seven times from 1992 until now. However, the Green Shirts have not yet managed to secure a victory. The last time they faced off was in Manchester in 2019, where they suffered an 89-run defeat due to rain-affected conditions.
India has a total of 56 wins and 73 losses against Pakistan in ODIs. However, in recent encounters, the team has been in strong form.
Last month, India lost to Pakistan in a crucial match of the Asia Cup Super Four stage after a remarkable bowling performance following a total of 228 runs.
