Have understanding of financial issues confronting Pakistan, claims Nawaz

LAHORE: (Suno News) Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said, “I understand the financial issues confronting Pakistan very well.”

The PML-N Quaid made these remarks during an address to the office-bearers of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).

“The PML-N governments always took the chamber into confidence before introducing economic policies,” Nawaz Sharif said.

“I am glad that the country’s business community always accepted the steps taken by the PML-N government,” he added.

He claimed that even India had adopted the policies introduced by the PML-N government and made progress.

“After 1990, the PML-N government started introducing innovations in the corporate sector,” the PML-N supremo stated.

“The policies introduced by the PML-N government added to the national exchequer,” he said and added, “The money invested should not be investigated.”

“If the country kept progressing at the same pace as it was progressing in the early 90s, it would be far ahead of other countries by now,” he claimed.
