Gold prices increase by Rs1,500 per tola
KARACHI: (Web Desk) Gold prices have increased in Pakistan as per tola rate of 24-karat gold has increased by Rs1,500.
The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the per tola price of 24-karat gold has increased by Rs1,500 to Rs215,400 while the price of 10-gram gold has increased by Rs1,286 to 184,671.
Due to fluctuations in the global market last week, gold was selling at Rs213,900 on Saturday as compared to its sale at Rs214,200 on last trading day.
The association on the last day of the week stated that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs257 to Rs183,385 from Rs183,642 whereas the prices of 10 gram 22-karat gold went down to Rs168,103 from Rs168,338.
However, the association had further reported, the price of per tola and 10 gram silver remained stagnant at Rs 2,600 and 2,229.08 respectively. The price of gold in the international market decreased by $2 to $2,038 from $2,040, the association reported.
