Gold prices decrease by Rs300 per tola
KARACHI: (Web Desk) Due to fluctuations in the global market, gold prices per tola have decreased in Pakistan as per tola price of 24-karat gold declined by Rs300.
The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that after decrease, gold was selling at Rs213,900 on Saturday as compared to its sale at Rs214,200 on last trading day.
It stated that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs257 to Rs183,385 from Rs183,642 whereas the prices of 10 gram 22-karat gold went down to Rs168,103 from Rs168,338.
However, the association further reported, the price of per tola and 10 gram silver remained stagnant at Rs 2,600 and 2,229.08 respectively. The price of gold in the international market decreased by $2 to $2,038 from $2,040, the association reported.
Yesterday, the price of gold increased by Rs400 per tola across the country while a decline of Rs1,400 per tola was seen on Thursday.
Last Thursday, the price of gold per tola was reduced by Rs1400, after which the price of gold was recorded at Rs213,800 per tola. In addition, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,200 to Rs183,300.
