Funeral of Maulana Tariq Jamil’s son will be offered in Tulamba tonight
Lahore: (Suno News) Funeral prayers for Asim Jamil, a son of renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, will be offered at 7:30 pm at the family’s native village Raees Abad in Tulamba tonight.

The body of Asim Jamil, who allegedly shot himself dead last night, was shifted to his native town for burial.
His brother Maulana Yousaf Jameel denied rumours about his family’s enmity with anyone. He said that such rumours were baseless.

In a video statement, Yousaf Jameel said that his brother was a patient of acute depression since childhood.
“For the last six months, he was being given electric shocks due to the severity of his illness,” he added.
“Today, as he was alone at home, he took a gun from the security guard and shot himself dead,” he elaborated.
Earlier, Maulana Tariq Jamil declared the death of his an accident in his statement on social media platform X.
