‘Hera Pheri’ is a famous Indian comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. Babu Rao, played by Paresh Rawal, remains one of the most loved characters of the franchise.

Initially, Paresh Rawal had announced his decision to step back from ‘Hera Pheri 3,’ citing boredom from reprising the role repeatedly, which disappointed his fans.

This led to a legal dispute, as co-producer Akshay Kumar reportedly sent a legal notice to Rawal for quitting the project.

Now, Akshay Kumar has confirmed that the iconic trio will reunite in ‘Hera Pheri 3.’ Although, Paresh Rawal has also confirmed his comeback in the movie.

The film’s shooting is expected to wrap up by May 2026.

The original ‘Hera Pheri,’ was released in 2000, which introduced audiences to the unforgettable trio of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Rawal), Raju (Kumar), and Shyam (Shetty), directed by Priyadarshan.

The sequel, ‘Phir Hera Pheri,’ followed in 2006 under the direction of Neeraj Vora. The third installment is now slated for release in the coming years, promising fans a return of the comedy classic.
