
The dua was organized by senior media personalities Tauseeq Haider and Leyla Zuberi in collaboration with Act Pakistan, drawing actors, anchors, and fellow artists together in a show of unity, remembrance, and reflection.
Both Ayesha and Humaira passed away in tragic and deeply painful circumstances. Long after their death their bodies were found in their respective apartments raising serious questions about mental health, isolation, and the emotional cost of working in a high-pressure entertainment industry.

At the prayer gathering, attendees offered warm words in memory of the late artists and prayed for their peace in the hereafter.
Veteran actor Faisal Quraishi shared a heartfelt message on Act Pakistan (Actors Collective of Pakistan) Instagram, expressed sorrow over the tragic loss, and talked about the need to stay united and support each other. He further revealed that only 20 percent out of the many who confirmed to show up via the Act Pakistan Instagram post actually came. He also conveyed that the Act Pakistan system is available 24 hours if actors are struggling—people in the Act system are there to support them, whilst also warning social media users against the misuse of actors voices and videos.
The effort was appreciated by social media users appreciated the effort, many of whom offered prayers and condolences. One comment read, “May Allah bless the departed souls.” Another said, “This was a great initiative by the artist community.” However, some voices also pointed to the need for more support during an artist s lifetime. “Don’t just remember them in death—stand by them in life,” a user wrote.
This emotional tribute has honored the memory of Ayesha Khan and Humaira Asghar but an important conversation about empathy, support, and the unseen struggles of those in the spotlight has also been sparked.
