Asim Azhar addressed the incident through Instagram. He said he normally does not post explanations, but this time he felt it was important to speak before “misinformation spreads further.”

In the viral clip, many people believed he was shouting at a fan. However, Asim explained that the person he confronted was actually a bouncer who was part of the security team.

According to Asim, the security staff member was pushing people in the crowd, including girls and children. Before he could handle the matter privately, the bouncer reportedly jumped onto the stage and started shouting, introducing himself as security.

The singer admitted that he became ‘triggered’ in the moment. However, he stressed that he feels responsible for maintaining safety and respect at his concerts.

“If you have ever come to a show of mine, you know how much I respect and care for everybody who comes to see me,” he wrote. He also shared that he has stopped performances in the past if he noticed any problem in the crowd.

Asim apologized if anyone felt offended by his reaction. At the same time, he made it clear that his anger was not directed at a fan. “I just want all my fans to feel safe, heard, and seen by me and my team when they attend a show,” he added.
