Nida Yasir reveals the real story behind her Formula 1 controversy
The popular morning show host appeared on a YouTube program, where she spoke honestly about-facing social media backlash and handling viral moments that often resurface online.
Talking about trolls, Nida said that negative comments initially affected her deeply. She even asked ARY Digital to avoid posting her pictures because she did not want hurtful remarks to reach her in-laws.
Over time, however, her family became her biggest strength. She shared that her husband Yasir and sister-in-law now openly defend her, which helped her stop caring about online hate.
Addressing the Nida Yasir Formula 1 blunder, she explained that the clip circulating online was very old. She admitted she did not have knowledge about Formula 1 at that time and said the mistake happened in haste during a busy show schedule.

Speaking about fellow actress Fiza Ali, Nida said she never intended to hurt anyone. She clarified that she did not respond publicly because she did not want to escalate the issue or gain attention through controversy, especially after spending nearly two decades on television.
She further shared that she has now stopped replying to negative comments altogether. According to her, responding only gives trolls more visibility, something she no longer wants.
