The actress shared the update while speaking at the trailer launch of her upcoming movie, Aag Lagay Basti Main, where she openly discussed her current priorities and career choices.

Mahira said she has decided not to take on any new film projects for the time being. She explained that she is already committed to a television serial and does not want to juggle two major projects at the same time.

“I’m taking a short break,” she said, adding that she would only return to films if an exceptional script comes her way.

The actress also hinted that she wants to be more careful in choosing her future roles. Without going into details, she suggested that quality matters more to her now than quantity.
