Sources reveal that Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, R. Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi will all return to their iconic roles, and Rajkumar Hirani once again will lead the project as director.

The sequel is being backed by Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and Aamir Khan. Insiders say the script is fully complete, and the makers are extremely happy with how the story has turned out.

According to source, “The magic of the first film is back. It’s emotional, meaningful, and hilarious just like the original.”

The 3 idiot 2 is set to release after 15 years and the movie will explore the lives of characters Rancho, Farhan, Raju, and Pia’s have evolved.

Official said that the charm and warmth of the iconic movie 3 idiots will remain same, while the humour will be shaped by the characters’ new struggles as adults.

Fans were requesting for this sequel for years, Hirani reportedly carried the idea of 3 idiots 2 for a long time and finalize the script after he paused Dadasaheb Phalke biopic project to ensure the new film respects the legacy of the classic.
