Lahore (Web Desk): Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has come under heavy trolling on social media after making a anti-Pakistan statement during a promotional event for his upcoming film Border 2, triggering a fresh online debate.

During the song launch ceremony, Varun Dhawan said films like Border 2 are necessary to send a strong message to the younger generation about India’s ability and determination to defend itself. His remarks quickly gained attention across digital platforms.

At the event, Varun Dhawan also delivered an aggressive dialogue from Border 2, saying, “This time we won’t enter the border — we will change the border itself.”

The statement went viral within hours and drew sharp reactions, particularly from Pakistani social media users.

Following the remarks, Varun Dhawan faced intense trolling, with many users mocking the film Border 2 by referencing recent regional tensions.

Several sarcastic comments claimed that India “takes revenge only in movies,” while others shared memes and critical posts questioning the narrative promoted by the film.

Whereas, a Pakistani actor Malik Aqeel also posted a story of Varun Dhawan dialogue and commented as “Dil ko behlany k lye galib khyal acha hai
