(Web Desk): Salman Khan faces consumer court notice under for allegedly misleading ads promoting a pan masala brand.

Bollywood megastar Salman Khan is once again in legal trouble. His latest controversy has captured public attention. The Kota Consumer Court has issued a notice to him over his endorsement of Rajshree Pan Masala.

A complaint was filed by Inder Mohan Singh Huni, a senior BJP leader and lawyer at the Rajasthan High Court. He accused the actor and the brand of misleading consumers with false advertising. The ad claims that the product contains “saffron-blended cardamom” and “saffron-flavored pan masala.”

Huni argued that these claims are deceptive. He noted that saffron costs nearly ₹4 lakh per kilogram, making it impossible for it to be used in a product sold for only ₹5.

The petitioner further said that such ads promote harmful habits among youth. Pan masala products are often linked to serious health risks, including oral cancer. Huni stressed that Salman Khan is a major influence on young people. “In many countries, top celebrities avoid promoting even soft drinks,” he said. “But in India, stars endorse products that damage public health.”

The consumer court has asked Salman Khan for a formal response. The next hearing in the case is set for November 27. As the November approches, the spotlight on celebrity accountability grows brighter than ever.
