Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna narrowly escaped serious harm after their car met with an accident in Mumbai, according to Indian media reports. The incident occurred on Monday evening as the couple was traveling from the airport to their residence following an overseas trip.

Reports said a speeding Mercedes rammed into an auto-rickshaw, causing the rickshaw to lose control. The out-of-control vehicle first collided with Akshay Kumar’s security convoy and then struck the actor’s car.

Victims Rescued Safely

The impact left the auto-rickshaw driver and a passenger trapped under the vehicle. Akshay Kumar, along with his security staff, immediately intervened and helped rescue the injured individuals, pulling them to safety before emergency services arrived.

Fortunately, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, and their staff were unharmed in the accident. The rescued victims reportedly sustained injuries and were provided medical assistance.

The couple had been traveling abroad to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. The accident took place shortly after their return to India, raising concerns among fans before reports confirmed their safety.
