Mumbai (Web Desk): Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood’s beloved superstar, has been injured while shooting an action sequence for his upcoming film King, prompting his immediate transfer to the United States for further medical care.

As per Indian media reports, in Mumbai during the filming of an intense action sequence, Shah Rukh Khan sustained a muscular injury which, while not critical, requires rest and medical attention. He was flown to the US for advanced treatment after receiving initial first aid. Sources close to the production disclosed that at least a month of rest for full recovery has been advised by doctors. However, specific details about the injury remain confidential.

Due to this unfortunate development, the shoot of King has now been postponed until September or October. All previously scheduled scenes for July and August have been put on hold to allow Shah Rukh the necessary time to recuperate.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, and Arshad Warsi.
