Efforts being made to make Pakistan, Afghanistan fight each other: Fazl
PESHAWAR: (Suno News) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), says that efforts are being made to make Pakistan and Afghanistan fight each other. “This matter has to be dealt with wisely; otherwise, it will be harmful.”
While addressing a grand ceremony in Wazir Bagh, Peshawar, the JUI chief said, “We have nothing to do with the internal politics of Afghanistan, and they should not have anything to do with our politics.”
Maulana also welcomed former Peshawar nazim-e-a’ala Haji Muhammad Umar Khan and his colleagues into the JUI fold.
He said, “This country was built in the name of Allah. Have we fulfilled our right? Have we fulfilled the right of religion? There is pressure on us regarding religion. We have to eliminate the pressure of foreign powers with our approach.”
He added, “Afghanistan, Iran, and Bangladesh are doing better than us. We are suffering from the crisis of inflation. Pakistan is suffering economically under an agenda.”
He emphasised, “We have to defeat these forces. We got this country in the name of Kalima. What have we done in 75 years? Those who fill the Parliament made a mockery of the country.”
He told the public meeting, “I want to tell the nation that there is pressure on us at the global level. Our military is being blackmailed. Bangladesh, India, and Iran are going ahead of us. Where do we stand?”
He further said, “Even today, we are crying about inflation. Only Imran Khan is not guilty. The general who brought him to power is equally responsible.”
He stressed, “We have to secure the future of our youth. Who are the criminals of our province and the country, today the province is being handed over to them. We know where these nationalists getting instructions from.”
He also claimed, “There was pressure on us to recognise Israel. Imran Khan and General Bajwa also met the US president,” and added, “We stand with Palestine.”
