Rupee continues upward streak against US Dollar

KARACHI (Web Desk): The Rupee appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading, closing at Rs280.40.

The market fluctuation shows a very slight but notable upward move in the currency market.

The Forex Association of Pakistan reported that Dollar buying and selling rates in the open market stood at Rs281.4 and Rs283.25, creating a narrow price gap for daily traders.

The Euro dropped by 63 paisa and settled at Rs326.36, suggesting mild pressure on the European currency, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.

The Japanese Yen declined by 01 paisa to finish at Rs1.79. Meanwhile, the British Pound gained 04 paisa, ending the day at Rs373.83, showing mixed trends across major currencies.

The Emirates Dirham maintained its previous value at Rs76.34, while the Saudi Riyal moved up by 01 paisa to close at Rs74.71, indicating low-volatility movement in Gulf currencies.

These currency changes look small, but they matter for traders. A slight rise in the Rupee shows the market is stable for now. Different currencies moved in different directions, which shows mixed global pressure. People watching the Dollar will keep an eye on whether this tiny gain turns into a bigger trend.
