
The local currency closed at Rs283.76 against the previous day’s closing of Rs283.86, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).
The buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 284.75 and Rs 285.8 respectively, the association said.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported the price of the Euro increased by Rs2.55 to close at Rs 328.95 against the last day’s closing of Rs 326.40.

The further reported that the Japanese yen went up by 03 paisa and closed at Rs1.95, whereas an increase of Rs 3.98 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 385.42 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 381.44.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal decreased by 02 paisa each to close at Rs 77.27 and Rs 75.63.
