According to the All Pakistan Gem Merchants and Jewellers Association (APGMJA), the price of gold increased by Rs1,400 to Rs263,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs1,200 to Rs225,908.

However, the price of silver in the local market witnessed a significant decrease after a long time. The silver price fell by Rs50 to Rs2,900 per tola.

On the other hand, a bullish trend was witnessed in the international market as the price of gold increased by $15 to $2,518 per ounce.

Fluctuations in gold prices in the domestic market are influenced by the ongoing international market dynamics as well as domestic factors including currency exchange rates and domestic demand.
