ISLAMABAD: (Suno News) In a surprising and sharp hike, 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs7,800, hitting a record Rs350,000, up from the previous Rs342,200, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also surged, rising Rs6,687 to reach Rs300,068 from Rs293,381. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed Rs6,130, now priced at Rs275,072 compared to Rs268,942 earlier.

Silver wasn’t left behind—per tola silver increased by Rs43 to Rs3,425, and 10 grams rose by Rs37 to Rs2,936.

On the global front, gold prices jumped by $76 to $3,316, while silver rose by $0.43 to $32.43.
