
The price of gold dropped by Rs800 per tola, bringing the price of one tola of gold to Rs318,000.
Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs686, making it worth Rs272,633.
Meanwhile, gold prices in the global market have also fallen. Internationally, the price of gold dropped by 9 dollars, now standing at 3,022 dollars per ounce. This shows a new trend in the gold market.
It is important to note that gold prices in Pakistan fluctuate regularly, and these changes are linked to shifts in the global market.
Experts say that given the global market situation and the country s economic conditions, further changes in gold prices are possible.
A day earlier, the price of 24-karat per tola gold decreased by Rs2,000 and reached at Rs318,800 on Friday in Pakistan.
On previous trading day, the precious stone was traded at Rs320,800, according to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
The association reported that the prices of 10 grams of 24 karat also decreased by Rs1,712 to Rs 273,319 from Rs275,034 whereas the prices of 10-gram gold of 22 karat also went down by Rs.1,572 to Rs.250,551 from Rs252,123.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $19 to $3,031 from $3,050 whereas price of silver went down by $0.40 to $33.10, the Association reported.
