According to details, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that also transgender individuals, and people with disabilities can benefit from Easy Business Financing. Applicants must be residents of Punjab, aged between 25 and 55 years, and possess a valid national identity card.
Applicants must also ensure they are not defaulters of any financial institution, are active tax filers, and have either ownership or rental rights to their business premises.
For those interested in the Easy Business Card, applicants must be residents of Punjab, aged between 21 and 57 years, possess a valid national identity card, have a registered SIM card, and be active tax filers.
Through the Easy Business Card, individuals will have access to SME card-based loan facilities, cash withdrawals of up to 25%, and options for paying government fees, taxes, and utility bills. The scheme also provides vendors with payment facilities for raw material procurement. Applicants can apply online through the portal at akc.punjab.gov.pk.
The Easy Business Finance scheme offers interest-free loans ranging from 1 million to 30 million rupees, with repayments in the easiest installments. The Easy Business Card provides loans of 500,000 to 1 million rupees.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that the Punjab government has launched revolutionary schemes to promote small and medium-sized businesses, which have the potential to change the future of Punjab and Pakistan. She emphasized that small and medium businesses drive the economy and that these schemes have made starting a business easier than ever before.
She further highlighted that land would be provided at discounted rates to encourage small businesses, and a groundbreaking program offers up to 3 million rupees in interest-free loans without the need for NOCs, licenses, or plans.
The chief minister added that individuals can apply for loans today and start their businesses tomorrow. These interest-free loans will be provided through the Bank of Punjab. Additionally, incentives will be offered to set up industries in export processing zones, including the provision of free solar systems worth up to 5 million rupees for industries established in these zones.
