According to rescue sources, four fire brigade vehicles were busy extinguishing the fire till the filing of the report.

Plumes of smoke were emitting from the fifth floor of the PSX building. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

Traders and brokers were worried about the start of trading in the market.

Brokers and traders said they sat outside the office and trading has been started. They said the PSX management should suspend the trading until the fire is extinguished.
