
Sources claim that the Punjab Law Department has confirmed the presentation date, and the Finance Department has submitted a summary asking for the budget session.
According to insiders, it is unlikely that any new taxes would be added to the 2019 budget, and the current tax rates will not be raised either.
According to reports, the budget will give priority to important industries like tourism, health care, and education.
The budget for the health sector will receive an additional PKR 90 billion allocation and the budget for education will be raised by PKR 110 billion over the previous year. A projected rise of more than 600% is expected to significantly improve tourism, bringing the total amount allotted to it to an estimated Rs35 billion.

The federal government will unveil nearly Rs18 trillion budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025-26 today (June 10). Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will present the federal budget in the National Assembly today (Tuesday).
