50 martyred in Israeli airstrike on mosque in central Gaza

GAZA: (Web Desk) Around 50 civilians were killed and dozens of others injured in a new massacre carried out by Israeli warplanes in the Sabra neighborhood in the centre of the Gaza Strip.

Sources reported that the occupation warplanes targeted a mosque in the Sabra neighborhood in the centre of the Strip, killing around 50 people, in addition to dozens of wounded, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

In a related matter, three civilians were killed and dozens of others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Malaysian school in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Strip.

Israeli warplanes also targeted Palestinian telecommunications towers in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis, killing a child and injuring several others.

The number of people killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, has reached 11,500, including 4,710 children. Around 32,000 people were also wounded.

WAFA also reported that Israeli occupation forces detained 69 Palestinians in raids at their homes in various areas of the occupied Palestinian territories.

The agency citing sources said Israeli soldiers detained 18 Palestinians from different villages in the Ramallah governorate, 26 from the Hebron governorate, most of them from the town of Dura, seven from Jenin governorate, including four siblings detained in a raid at Kufr Rai village as hostages to force another brother to turn himself in, seven others from the Qalqilya governorate, four from the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, four from the Nablus district, two from Jericho, and one from Faraa refugee camp in Tubas.

Palestinian advocacy groups said the Israeli army detained around 2,735 Palestinians since October 7.
